Static Guarding normally involves the regular deployment of one or several security guards to a location for a fixed period of time.

Normally the premises are guarded after the close of business for the day, but there tends to be a handing over period at the end of the day to ensure the guard(s) are fully aware of any new developments.

Whilst on site they can perform a number of additional duties and services, typically patrolling the perimeter on foot and monitoring CCTV.
